MAKING
PIJIN/PIGEON
This production required a mattress that folded and also could store items in. This was made from two old donated mattresses and reused fabric. For this prop I worked in a group of two, this project took 2 weeks to complete

PUPPETRY
Year 1 (2021)
THE SHARK
Based off of the tail of the Tiger shark being sold in Cardiff market, my group decided to make a life size shark. I hand made a full sized shark from cardboard and muslin, painted with acrylic. The shark had to be cut up and able to be re-attached, each section was attached with embedded magnets in order to do so.

FISH TRAYS
Full working mech fish trays, used in the puppetry performance to scare and lure the audience. Eyes, mouths and fins of the fish were movable, and were controlled under the tray. The majority of the fish were made from foam, covered in gum strip, and painted with acrylic. Some had a silicone cover over the top, which was molded. The eel head and crab were made from warbler.
